Look, I'm pretty sure my mum reads this blog, so I really shouldn't swear
but seriously, I f*cking love this thing. I am more excited about this makeup remover than pretty much anything else in my life right now, which I know is unfathomably sad but I don't care because my face is so clean and I get to enjoy that sweet pump action every night before bed.
Mum please stop reading my blog. I can't help myself. I am depraved.
The Bioderma hype has been full on for about 5 years now, and yet I steadfastly ignored it because Bioderma was only available over the internet and I want instant gratification all of the time and 4-6 working days is way too long to wait for anything in my book, even true everlasting love. But in recent months it's become available in some bigger Boots stores - and not only that(!) - it now comes topped with an extremely exciting reverse action pump which, when pressed down upon with a cotton pad, releases precisely the right amount of product to remove two eye's worth of liquid liner.
This is the stuff of dreams. This pump makes me feel like Greta Garbo, retiring for the night in a silk slip (BF's discarded t shirt, whatever) reaching for a cotton wad from a suitably glitzy container and then dispensing exactly the right amount of makeup remover onto it like some kind of Stephen Hawking super genius. Not a cohesive analogy. I don't care. The power of the pump is carrying me through.
The one issue with it is that this heavenly contraption costs £19. Yes nineteen whole sterling pounds which I happily handed over like a fool. A genius fool who never uses too much Bioderma. You won't need to keep repurchasing though as the nifty top unscrews to allow for a shifty off-brand refill when you need it. Having said that though, Bioderma is so clearly, eyes-not-stingingly superior to other micellar waters, I may end up refilling it with that after all.
Anyway. I wrote this post at midnight, and I think it really shows. That sweet pump action though. Worth every penny if you ask me.
